Ontario Biomass Producers Co-operative Inc. (OBPC)

Ontario Biomass Producers Co-operative Inc. is a group of Ontario farmers exploring the sustainable production and marketing of biomass. This group is open to all Ontario farm operations, from small to large scale that are engaged in the biomass industry. They classify biomass as-An environmentally friendly, carbon neutral, product from purpose grown crops, like Miscanthus, Switchgrass and other tall grasses, as well as other agricultural or wood fibre-based by-products.

Bio-Origins are proud to be associated with OBPC in using their switchgrass and miscanthus grown in Ontario to produce single use packaging for fresh produce vegetables thereby replacing currently used plastic alternatives.
